The Proposal
Movers is an application that was designed to add a new avenue for moving companies to reach consumers and modify the traditional method of a user searching for a moving company.
Problems
- Low reliability between moving company and users
- Sometimes companies don't get back in touch quickly enough to give a quote
- It's difficult to compare all the services and prices from all the competitors
- Hidden fees or a company doesn’t show up
Solution
From research and ideation to UI and implementation, I designed the app so that users could easily make requests and receive the company's actual information and price offers in order to choose the most reliable company.
The process was designed to allow moving companies to easily provide offers, so that movers could see the user's schedule, type of home, and moving inventory information, making it easy to check the size of users' moving load.
Key
Users no longer have to waste time looking for different moving companies. After creating a moving schedule, users can get offers from companies within 24 hours. The users can then select the best offer for their moving needs.

Observations section
This section's goal was to synthesize all learning into an emerging pattern approach by collecting all feedback per participant with colors. Each feedback received from each participant was noted in the rainbowsheet.
User Testing + IMPROVEMENTS
Testing Platform: Maze
Testing Overview:
Fifteen(15) participants
Four(4) Missions, Two(2) Open questions
Key Finding #1: Users were confused about the amount of progress required.
Actions Taken: The tab design has been changed from the item list to the search function.
Key Finding #2: Users experienced minor difficulties to find their inventory items from the listing.
Actions Taken: Action Taken: The tab has been modified from the item list to the search function.
Key Finding #3: No function for the user to print or email the invoice
Actions Taken: Added the print and email icon buttons.
The overall user test was highly successful, but further design improvements were found through testing and user feedback.
I'm going to update the detailed design to enhance the overall process to make it easier for the user to understand.
